The education of a doctor never stops. Nowhere is this more evident than for the management of eye disease.
During the winter of 1996, Dr. Gerowitz took part in (and subsequently passed) a 120 hour program given by the University of Missouri in St. Louis Optometry School in the treatment of eye infections and injuries, glaucoma, and the management of the ocular manifestations of diabetes.
Since 1984, Dr. Gerowitz has participated in hundreds of hours of continuing education to get new information on the use of today’s latest medications and the diagnosis and care of common and not-so-common problems.
The advancement of learning has its own rewards, but on a practical level Dr. Gerowitz has the ability to help patients who are suffering from conjunctivitis (pink eye), eye allergies, dry eye, and ocular injuries.
And as you would expect, Dr. Rob always makes time for emergencies.
